Yeah TCL started making profits this year, plus their moratorium on issuing dividends supposed to end next year.

Also some minority shareholders are putting up a fuss attempting to get directors on the board, and insiders began buying up shares a few months ago, generally a positive sign for the company.

Bought some at $1.05.

How exactly do you know that insiders have been buying the stock? All companies are supposed to notify the Stock Exchange whenever Senior Officers or persons connected to them purchase shares, which TTSE then publishes. They haven't published any such notices about TCL since July 10th.

Thats what I meant, from reading those same notices, the upward trend started in July

I'm still waiting to see what FCB shares will be at when they come on the market. TCL is definitely getting my interest though.

Good time to ask for a loan.
All the employees counting their monay!!

Everybody happy.
Lol
I hope this encourages more companies to list.

Also they should restructure NEL with the intention of divesting more of the state enterprise s .
Establish 2 local ETFs and list them.

So FCB has crossed $33.00. I'm thinking whether it makes sense to buy now as I vaguely remember reading an article that said it would peak at $31.00 or so. Is it just climbing because of the hype?

If it was me and had a significant investment in fcb, i would sell 1/3 or so and forget about the rest and just leave it long term.
