The ITCZ in an apparent oscillation around 10N, so "it" will appear to move up and down for a few more days.
Forecasters expect it to decrease slightly by Wednesday, which could lead to a moderate ITCZ in patches by weekend. An improvement over last weekend.

No power from Endeavour to Munroe Rd.

T&TEC says Endeavour will be without power for the next 3-4 hours

I just drove around. Parts of Rodney Road and Lange Park to the south all the way to Caroni Savannah Rd to the west and parts of Munroe Rd to the north and parts of Cunupia to the east are still without power.

The layout of the grid is very confusing. There are houses on Rodney Rd with power while all the houses around them are without and even one or two random street lights on on the middle of a large area of darkness.

hmm, indeed very strange..

I heard that they may be switching grids again within an hour or 2... so some folks may get cut or restored with power *crosses fingers *

Heard on the news that ttec is in 'emergency blabla mode' and has put all hands on deck to normalise the service.

The distribution grid is split up into different feeders. Probably the affected feeder ended right on Rodney Road while those that have power are most likely on a separate feeder which is not affected. The feeders are separated by a normally open switch which kinda looks like claws on top of the pole. I am not familiar with the grid specific to Central but generally that's the layout.

The random street lights on is a different story by itself though. Not sure how that's happening.
