hey guys I have a pair of Oscars and was looking for some suitable tank mates, they are already about 8 inches so I would need to get large fish to put in with them.

Anyone know where I can buy big Tinfoil barbs or large cichlids ???

Buttikoferi Cichlid. He is about 8-9inches long and around 6 inches tall. Very aggressive (But i have him in a 6ft aquarium with other cichlids).

Also got Some 6" Venustus Cichlids.

Please call kasey 761-7699 if interested.

raj had some larger blood parrot cichlids,he was selling em for $200,they were about 7-8" iirc. Its a hit or miss with regards as if they'll fight or be great together though.

Dean,i got these books for you man!

I did visit QPSL and was not impressed. They said on the phone they have imported kois, but from what I saw it was just run of the mill normal low quality kois. Their prices was a bit steep as you can get the same sizes for less at other places.
I think they prey on ppl that don't know much about high quality kois.

I checked them today. Spoke to the young boy. What they have is dwarf Sagittarius. They never had dwarf hair grass but may be getting sometime in the future.

Same.... I checked them only saw a couple ok ones but no really nice ones.. They claim to have higher grades in the back that sell from 15k up...
Even if you do some research on the bloodlines they supposedly have you'll think twice compared to what you see..

Btw pets shop boys have a couple utsuri at the moment.. Not the best specimens but ok enough...

boi...I was using dacron...got it frm Radica's in chaguanas by the yard.
It's softer than filter floss & will separate easier, but if u install properly, u can benefit immensely...needs more frequent replacing, but does a measurably better filtering job than the coarser floss.

You will need to be able to shift your Aquarium onto a sturdy base before shifting, one best option is to be able to either raise the 2 feet to reach the 3 feet and slide across the aquarium that may be the safer way once the base doesn't experience any uneven support you should be safe.

Keep in mind the ultimate safe way is to empty the aquarium, shift it and then set it up again.

The table has a flat woden top that is attathed to the frame and then a next flat piece of wood on top that .this piece is not attached and the aquarium rests on that so i could probly lif the piece of wood with the aquarium and slid it off like what you said thanks

thanks, do they always have, or is it a call and see situation?
also, is it water based paint stored? I weary about using it if harmful chemicals were stored in them

water based resins...will wash out easily with hose. If u wait too long & it dries, STRESS to peel off because it's real tedious (it dosen't really stick, more clings strongly)....always hve as shpmnts always come in (they MUST mix paint)....
