Where has the best price on Gold Jewellery in Trinidad?

A question for those of you that buy gold jewellery locally.
From your experience buying in Trinidad, what store or general location in Trinidad has the best prices?
I've heard a lot of people say San Fernando has the best prices.
What is your opinion?

Bought some nice stuff in gulf but don't listen to the sales girls, they seem a bit daft at most requests.

Finally an intelligent answer....R.S white gold is actually gold that is mixed with other metals typically nickel, manganese or palladium, (yes the stuff the stark reactor is made up of ) platinum as well....

lots of jewelery places say white gold is better but in reality..its junk...
pure gold does not tarnish with air and its the least reactive metal ( see reactivity series) less reactive means the metal does not corrode or "rust" thereby remaining mostly pure
(purity is accepted as 99.9999% metal)

So what carat are wedding rings usually made of?

18k and under are usual mix for jewelry, 24k would be too pliant.

There are 22k though, it would all depend on the jeweler and alloy used to make up the composition. Titanium has a very high melting point and hardness, so hard that jewelry made from this cannot be resized easily. Mixed with gold it would give it more strenght etc.

the more pure gold is the more pliable it is. gold itself is soft and the purer it is the softer it will be.
Karat is the measure of how pure gold is....

knowing Karat gold is more or less pure gold - youre buying actual gold and white gold is gold mixed with other metals....which would your rather buy...??

Hustlers on the streets have the cheapest...but check it first.
