Is Republic Online and SMS Banking both down?

Trying to log on to republic online and SMS banking for the past two days and no success. Is anybody else experiencing the same problems?

Nah it was working. I did some transactions up to Monday evening. The funny thing about it too is their sms service appears to also be down!

Online banking is working...just used it.

Yeah getting the same thing and I tried it on two computers so I know it's not a java or browser problem.

Just checked it and got in. But that site is the biggest ratch I've ever seen.

Dont use Chrome, use Firefox or IE ...

It is working. I use IE to access Republic online btw..

Been working fine for me all day long. SMS messages for each transaction are taking just a bit longer though.

dat sms ting is real time like for salary notifications? or do they manually have to send those msgs after a while pass after your salary comes in? I know their online transactions used to take effect the next day or so

I usually get SMS in one minute or less after a transaction.

Just updated Java an began getting this error in all browsers!! I desperately need to get into my account. Happening to anyone else??

i just downloaded the 7u25 java update and it worked for me, make sure your browsers are closed, btw only worked on firefox

i havent been able to download any credit card statements for the past week or so, it just stays on "waiting for republiconline...." when i click retrieve

anyone else has same issues

This was happening to me on two different computers. When I tell you, trying to log in to Republic online sends me off - it is the worst system. Royal is so much easier and not half as frustrating. And the SMS thing is not easy to set up either.

getting a java blocked error as well- is this only in firefox?

uninstall java reboot and then reinstall java fresh

install the latest JRE and use the uninstaller to remove any old versions of java. Mine works fine.

i installed the latest and didn't get any java related error again but it look like my userid expire or something- i called rbl no. last night and someone actually answered at after 10 pm- but they still require 2 working days to activate it- so obviously it still manually done by staff

I downloaded the ju25 and removed the old Java . Its still not working . Will try a restart later

this sheit getting real annoying yes

today i haven't been able to do any internet banking on any of my office computers

6 different computers

on explorer and firefox, the "log in" button simply does not work

with chrome it logs in, allows to me choose accounts and amounts but after i type in transaction password and click send/ok , it says "java disabled in browser"

getting the same sheit at home now as well


deleted all java...cc cleaner clean up...restarted...reinstalled java....same sheit...everywhere

^ I called the credit card center and spoke to a very helpful CSR.

She suggested to download Java 7 from this link in IE
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ie.jsp

Once I installed Java 7 update 25 from that link and restarted my PC I was able to get on with no problems.
