Any sumitomo HTR ZII reviews (not Ziii). Only thing apart from Chinese and dz101 I can find with an alright rating at least from tyre rack. And what are initial thoughts on sailun atrezzos n gt radial? I'm very skeptical as I want the best I can afford and the only other thing is a huge price jump : 3k Michelin which is way out of my league

ZII is a terrible tyre, the ZI was much better and III even better than previous two.
Gt Radial has a killer tyre out there, which we won't be getting.
Even that Michelin at 3k is crap.

had some seat time with some falken azenis
im very impressed with the wet and dry traction. altho it take about 2 mins to warm the tyres up a bit. they are a bit noisy when cold but warm up well

i heard ACL has a sale on some goodyear tires

those are what they call goodyear mystiques but are actually called blue streak...bought them this week to replace my sailuns which were worn down...still breaking them in stores lady convinced me they were up to goodyear standards so ill see...no sale tho they were 633 each...

just replaced the fronts though might replace the back with another brand later this year....those of you in the east should check triple a's tyre shop in arima they had a large range in my size 205/60/15....might check them out next time around

ok... time for an update on the Dunlop DZ101.

Well these tyres are absolutely worthless in the wet so the extremely poor ratings for wet traction are correct....experienced some major understeer today where my WORN T1-Rs would not. It seems that the Proxes even down past the wear bars grip better than these fairly new Dunlops. In dry conditions the tyre is not too bad ... holds up well to some aggressive use but really does not inspire confidence.

So to sum up I'll just be taking it easy until time for replacements. Oh yeah ... forgot to mention not bad on noise and somewhat more comfortable ride overall than the Proxes T1-Rs.

You can get toyo in 14" if I remember but it was massively overpriced... In that size I usually would just say pick up some Kumho from wherever has it best priced.

Bought a set of Firestone FR380 - price 620. reviews put it as an slightly above average tyre at 2.8/5. There was a recall in 2008-2009 for insufficient thread base gauge (size 235 75 15), mine were manufactured in 2012 (215 60 16).
So far nice handling, no road noise, kinda soft side walls though. Any local reviews?

i have the toyo vimode, very very good tire, sadly tough one is bent and i need to get a new set,

they are a bit noisy, would like to buy again but the price is off the roof for a 14" tire.

BTW they are currently doing close to 32000KM and im sure i would have gotten abt 40000km to 45000km total.

I put those Firestone FR380 on a Y11 AD Wagon with 15's last year. Paid $500 or 550 each I think for 195/60/15 at Ramrattan.

So far as good, no complaints.. Don't expect it to last super long but it does the job

went mileage mack yessday, saw the kumho Kh17 for 550 +.

as i said my toyos are bent (or so i taught), one of the floor supervisor said its really hard to bend a toyo, he also said alot of their customers and coming in with this problem for most of their various tyre brands.

he said that the tyres are bumpy and not bent due to the road conditions,

fella really didnt want me to put on the kumho, he insisted that i had my toyo's flipped over and placed in the front,

they were closing so i will have to go back some other time.

let them put it on a balancer and see not a speed balancer but the wobble balancer that holds the tyre horizontally

the potenza gIII are pretty decent
but you need to check the yeah they were made, i think its an old tire
i've seen some new michelin and they were made in 05

I think this is heavily dependent on models as opposed to brands. The stock Bridgestone potenza re050 are not as good as the sumitomo htr z3 on my car right now.
