Handbrake to Footbrake conversion

changing the interior of my almera but the centre console has no space for the handbrake lever. is the conversion as simple as adding the pedal and the respective cable? any help would be greatly appreciated guys

some almeras came with foot brake so just get the relevant parts and hope all the spots to bolt up said parts are there....

The cable from the foot peddle to the connector under the center console is hard to get, while you may get the peddles the cable is usually cut, had this problem when I had my almera, foot cable was sticking and had real trouble to locate one, was lucky to get one by M&N though after a lot of calls and check backs, hopefully things change now, my experience was in 2011, hope you get through.
