Can anyone aware me on a dashboard holder for iPhone 5, I need one for while i'm driving, charging and using waze.

I saw the iOttie on amazon but concerned due to the "textured" surface of the xtrail dash and it not being able to suction properly.

Trying to avoid sticking anything on my windshield.

Yup I have the iOttie, it's not performing too well on the textured surface

I have the iottie easy touch and IMO its the best thing out. Super easy to use.

I have the iOttie easy flex2 mounted to the windscreen. Very happy with it thus far. Had the easy flex 1 before, and it was a bit too flimsy and started to lose its stiffness with the sun. The 2 is much sturdier.

Most of the iOttie product descriptions say textured dash surface is no problem, but it must be completely clean. However if you look at the many reviews and many of the customer submitted images, mounting on your dash can leave a permanent mark/discolouration.

Best to get a small as possible holder and mount on the windscreen so it doesn't block your view too much.

Easy one touch user here. And off and on you'd have to tighten it. It does go through a lot of expansion and contraction with the changes in temp.
I bough that one because initially I wanted to dash mount but when I tried to, it didn't work out well. Thankfully this really adjustable.

I heard there was an official Apple Retailer in Westmall, does anyone know if they handle warranty issues as well? Repairs, replacements etc and if the device needs to be on the original owner's name for the warranty to be honoured?

what format are the videos in??? ipad only plays mp4 videos......hence if they not in mp4 format it would not sync

If you dont use your CD player (I use my iPhone through my stereo via Bluetooth) you can get one of these like I did. Works extremely well (see ratings on Amazon).

well you might want to check your sync settings for the ipad mini.....if not exit itunes and restart your ipad and see if that works

There is a option to manage music/videos manually i think under the summary tab. Try to Enable and jus drag files to ipad within itunes

Does anyone know if there's any Cydia tweak whatsoever for Dropbox that will enable you to share folders and rename files from the device ? It's rather stupid that its been available to do on Android so long and they never implemented it in iOS

^ that's how it looks with Folder Enahncer installed though. Bugs me a bit since I have to hit the home key to minimise it.

Btw - with no running apps, what do you guys free RAM average at ?

I won't advise anyone buying cydia apps right now. We're on the verge of a new iOS.

I have about 240MB free when I have "zero" apps running.
