I am getting mixed opinions on this as i would like to change mine doing a flush with 12 quarts, some people claim you should use Dia Queen CVTF J1 fluid which is $175.00 per quart and i need 12, and some says you can use use the normal SPIII in white bottle, I have asked Jenton, the transmission experts and was told the Dia Queen CVTF J1 could be used as well as the SPIII in the white bottle, however i am still not sure about this.

Cs2 uses mitsubishi motors sp III it should be stated on the tranny dipstick. The newer 2.0l lancer uses the more expensive cvt fluid from mitsubishi motors.Call federal and give them your vin # or model. The guys on the specific cy and cs lancer model post would have answered these questions in previous posts.
