4g15 exhaust size?

Postby Ted_v2 » April 29th, 2013, 10:52 pm

What's the largest exhaust piping I can install on a 4g15 dohc? I'm getting a steal of a deal on a 2.5 piping with a n1 exhaust. Now I was thinking it's too big but maybe just maybe it would work no?

i think 2.5 is lil bit 2big especially for a stock motor.i'd recommend u use 2''
the 2.5'' may cause u to burn more gas as well as lose power low down

if manual, maybe 2.25" but auto nothing bigger than 2"
general rule of thumb, less than 200hp, 2" is all you need

Well I'll keep my stock piping. I was getting a deal on a exhaust system frm a 2nr but I won't bother anymore.
