Chaguanas users, what's you're max DL rate? I've gotten 600kb/s MAX in some areas, and 800kb/s max in other parts or Chaguanas...both on 5MB connections.

Speedtest reads fine but lately the connection doesn't feel as fast, the modem is reading a solid yellow light on the downlink past couple days.

Nice speed but why you did not take 100MB one time .

I tried it for 2 days, got 60down and 2.5 up max. 50Mb serves my purpose as my household streams a lot of media.

You need to test with one of the Miami servers for a more accurate reading.

taking a 100mbps connection would require changing your cables to CAT6 as the cap on CAT5 is just over a 100mbps (which is not guaranteed do to certain factors such as losses over length ect.)

also Flow would have to run fiber directly to your modem (not that long ass coax cable as losses may be become present)

also u gonna have to get an expensive ass wireless router if u want that speed over WIFI.

Cat5e supports 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet).

Don't think Flow does FTTH for normal residential customers.

It's a CAT6 cord I'm using to connect my modem to router, this is the test from yesterday on the Miami server.

^test Miami, FL, LIME Server. I use that server. If you don't get ~600kB/s and ~80ms ping then it might have an issue.

hmm. test from a hard wire connection also. When I had 5mbit i used to get consistently above 600kB/s and keep monitoring it. Give them a call soon if you notice it not hitting 600. My recent issue was signal levels were off. If you test TT/port of spain (not digicel eh) you're getting 600kB/s?

You asked them about this? From what I remember, the few times I ever saw a yellow light instead of a green, I don't get internet access :/

Really not sure - I think when I saw it, it was my link light and it was because of problems on Flow's end. I'd check which light, check the model number and see if there's anything in the manual or on Google. Let us know if you find anything!

It indicates speed, on the newer Docsis 3.0 modems, the light would be green or yellow depending on throughput, I really can't say where the thresholds are though, but an example may be: 0-5Mbps = yellow, 5-15Mbps = Green

The info is on page 32 here: http://www.arrisi.com/support/documenta ... Std1-2.pdf

My DS is back to a steady green but now my US is yellow, and the tel1 line started blinking past couple days. Last time my US was yellow was when I had the 5Mb package.

Tell them you're not getting the usual bandwidth you're accustomed to and they'll ask you some account questions and check it. It's technical assistance you're gonna speak to btw.

I switched to flow 2 mths ago after having blink for years, A great improvement! No regrets...

This result is based on the 5MB package (with torrents downloading currently):

same here , have no complaints for the value.

Big improvement in upload speed which used to be a bother using dropbox before.
