I got it at Vishnu Marajh Motors in Chaguanas and they did the install. I can't remember the exact price but it was way cheaper than SS. Fiaz and Federal should have it too.

southern sales has, also, gayas on cipero sells a substitute that works well...for maybe half the price of the original.

cipero street is san fernando. go straight across the 'cross' up the hill, its on the left before you reach the top of the street.

ok guys, not sure if this is a serious thing, but posting for some insight on it :: my car is parked on an incline garage, facing down....about 30 degrees, so i have to reverse out the yeard... i usually put my foot on the brakes and the gas and then press the gas to pull of without rolling forward, and doing that today, i heard a knock coming from the front of the car, the steering wheel is straight, and i heard it again this evening, can anyone give an insight on this? thanks

Maybe the drive axle had some play? You hear it once as soon as you apply the gas?

when driving tru ruff in the roads, hearing a knocking coming from the back of the car, sounds like the trunk but when to do a alignment and the guy shook a stabalizer link under the car and said thats where the sound comes from, where can i get the links, going to change the two and whats the correct name for it...thanks

Just make sure your handbrake is operating well enough to handle being parked at a 30 degree angle without rolling forward and putting pressure on drive axle while in park.

The links are the rear sway bay end-links or rear stabilizer bar links. Not hard to get. Make some calls or check the stealership.

The manual quoted every 120,000km but I think that is too long based on the driving I do so I changed mines at 50,000km. I used standard plug because I really don't see a big difference with the performance type.

When I need to park on an incline I usually put the car on neutral and pull the handbrakes, once i sure the car is not rolling then i put it in park, that way you sure you don't put strain on the axle.

if its the rear endlinks, i need to get a pair of these too. They also said the rear control arm bushing is coming out of the arm and I need to replace the arm. Where can I get this?

Federal on Cipero st. has the endlinks for $1,500 - original part.

Can anyone help me identify the rear control arm/bushing? Should be cheaper to get it online

Rear control arm is #7 on the diagram, with bushings on either end. The bushing is coming out? Never heard of that happening before.

Endlinks #12, Lateral link #3 and Trailing arm bushing #2 (at the end of the arm) can all cause noise if they are in bad shape.

So i went back today to have them double check and confirm with the parts diagram...

It turns out to be the right side Lateral link and not control arm as per diagram. When they rock it back and forth it squeaks and the metal/bushing moves.

xNeXuSx, where you getting these part numbers from? I have a pdf of a 2004 MZ3 parts catalog with different numbers.

The part numbers I use are really for the N.A. and Canada markets. Local and imported have different numbers for some parts, even though they are the same in most cases. Mostly engine parts and MS3 parts differ.

I have service and TSB documents I got from a US dealership last year and also did a lot of work suspension wise on my car, so I know these particular parts well.

CX5 design looks a lil better imho than the smiley face dey put on the new BT50

well i decided to check Southern Sales, and they have it for $419.00 so i bought them there, and i also got a 20% discount, so i ended up paying about $330.00....also inquired about the front links also, they have it for 350.00....just posting for reference....
