The rain today is welcome since the dust is playing havoc with sinus.
Shower that has fallen thus far in Mc Bean just seemed to evaporate as soon as it hit the ground, but I am holding out hope for a bit more.

I welcome the rain over my selfish desire to keep the car looking clean. Place too damn dry.

I'm aware. I did defensive driving. That only applies to when rain initially starts falling not two hours after afaik

After the dry conditions for the past 2-3 months, the first rains tend to make the road extra slippery once its wet. No matter if rain just stop falling or finish 5 hrs ago. Once the road is wet after a prolonged dry spell, extra caution is needed. I making sense or you d'oh understand what im talking about?

Sooooo u think the average person on the road thinking about all that?

Be realistic here. We all know how reckless the majority of drivers here are.

Good risk management and awareness of dangerous road conditions affects sales of body panels but does contribute positively to well being of human body items.

 Stef, you'd be surprised how many drivers are aware of what rfari is telling you.

I myself did a survey in 2011 and it turns out that 93% of drivers know this.
Unfortunately, 74% of statistics found on the internet are 68% wrong 81% of the time.

I still encounter many people who believe they could drive fast on wet roads because their car has abs.

S_2nr is probably one of those :|

The words 'fast' and 'slow' are relative eh. Just saying.

No. "Faster" and "slower" are relative and comparative. "Fast" and "slow" are descriptive.

This Easter week-end was hot and bone dry which was fabulous for festivities but real rough on vegetation and human skin and lungs.
Hope we do get some April showers to bring things back to green.
