IQ Ranking is a waste of time. In TT you will want security and Rott fits the bill. GSD has too many medical problems and costly to maintain.

Only GS who have been overbred have many med issues, main one being hip DYS, get a good bloodline and eliminate many of the issues. You want Security get a South African Mastif

Hip Dysplasia (DYS) is a condition of the hip joint where the ball and socket do not fit together properly. This causes changes in the bones that can cause pain and lameness. These changes are premature arthritis in the joint. ALL German Shepherd Dogs (GSD) have DYS and there is a rating system internationally. OP Google for more information. The reason is simply bad breeding practices. GSD also suffer from "wet sores" and this takes time to heal and costly to treat. OP Rotts do not suffer from above these and Pitt Bulls are the best !
