I'm considering learning Krav Maga..
Can anyone share your experiences and opinions of the local academies, instructors, etc.

So far this is the only academy I have been able to find.

torakan has more of a MMA culture, so if you just want pure Krav, that /may/ not be for you
(they are good though and chin leung is pretty cool)

there is a 'dojo' of some sort at Shops of Arima in the indoor area. Not quite sure what they do exactly tho

that isnt a dojo, its Fitness Studio. they dont offer Krav Maga.....

Oh gorm.. Ent dey does teach yuh discipline first.. and how to walk away instead of fighting first?

I jess don't like the pictures of what I saw happening to that tourist at Carnival and seriously wanna learn how to protect my kids and myself. In fact I would love for them to learn too.

that $500 now applies to every class now. Its not just singled out to one style anymore like before, so you can come anyday you want to do whatever; Krav, MMA, Strength and Conditioning, Striking, Jui Jitsu.
