Sorry sir. Go look at a review. Lifeproof is better. Had one on the 4s but the old man like rocking the phone without one. Guess he learnt the hard way. Lol

You all ever check the reviews for life proof on sites though? Heard the seals die after a while.

So iOS 6.1.2 is out. Supposed to fix some of the issues reported with 6.1.1. Curious as to if it fixes the battery drain issue.

Glad I didn't update from 6.0.1 yet - still waiting for any bugs to stabilise

Apple Hacked, Company Claims No Data Stolen

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/02/19/ ... ata-stolen

It is alleged that the Chinese is behind these attacks on various companies where hundreds of Terabits of data have been stolen, from blueprints to emails.
Not even Apple computers are safe.

oh... i did a clean restore on 6.1.1 and it seems a tweak may have caused my battery drain. I'm currently restoring an iCloud backup to 6.1.2 and will jailbreak later. I only have Zephyr, SBSettings and iFile installed. I did try NCSettings but i kept getting a springboard crash.

I didn't reinstall f.lux since my last redo of 6.1.1 so i'm not sure if that caused my battery drain. But i did add a "bad" repo and installed quite a few useless tweaks to me as i wanted pandora downloader (woohoo for no ads and unlimited skipping!). Some other tweaks i had were RemoveBackground, appslide, bytafont and well f.lux.

Guys i have a major prob! I use Goodnotes for taking notes on pdfs and i backed up my data using itunes before udpating to IOS 6.1 BUT now that i redownloaded goodnotes all my notes gone...i tried restoring after i downloaded goodnotes but it keeps saying that i dont have enough space. I had an older version of the app and downloaded it thinking it would restore but it didn't. Any suggestions to restoring my old notes????

U had an icloud backup? if you did, restore from an icloud backup and it will return. Well, it should. I always use an iCloud backup now and it restores all the data once i choose that app to backup into the cloud. Let's hope it is backed up. If you chose to backup to iTunes alone, try again since that shouldn't happen (Re: no space issue)

No i didnt back up to icloud i backed up to my computer. When i try restoring the backup it says that ipad doesnt have enough space.. when i backed up it was almost full memory but after i deleted 10gb of pics(16gb version) from the folder on my computer it still showing that i only have 2.1 gb available.. what i have on the ipad now the storage not adding up bec i seeing Goodnotes have memory in excess of the app itself but it just not appearing

You think i could try backing up to icloud instead of my pc and restoring the backup.. or would i lose everthing from the first back up

Whatever you do don't delete the backup on the PC.
It wouldn't have anything on the iPad anyway so backing up and restoring to/from iCloud won't make a difference.

Try what these people suggest:

No, by not deleting it in settings. If you backup again it /shouldn't/ delete the old backup. Aside from that as the guidelines suggest, you're gonna set it up as a new device, I'd advise renaming it just to be extra careful.
Did you try the suggestions in the discussions page?

Ah great. Once you follow what they said in the board it should work as some had success. I do hope it works out. All the best!

x2

i dont trust pc backups anymore always feel like something is missing , icloud FTW ! backup the important stuff on the cloud (docs , settings , emails ..app data etc) , import the media to your computer that way your cloud wont full so easily .

now gonna test run the 6.1.2 on a new iPad 4 with 3G then run an untethered jb!

You should have left it at 5.1. There have been some reported issues with 6.1 in terms of wireless connection etc. You may have to downgrade back to 5.1 if possible.
