On to Episode 2. TG US on Tuesday before that. Suddenly went from being in a world with no Top Gear to 2x a week.

on a serious note though; 1 of 2 things.

either they're running out of ideas, or they found a recipe and they're sticking with it.

I mean; the american road trip has been done 3 times now, and the gunship vs car was already done with the exige vs an apache helicopter.

Still epic stuff to watch though, I'm glad they haven't forgotten they're a car show, and it's still better than a lot of stuff I've paid $45 to see in cinema.

^^ indeed but idk I really wasn't excited for this trip compared to say the Italy trip or even the hot hatches in Monaco.

I was genuinely head over heels when I saw the cars but except the race to Mexico I wasn't really "glued to the screen" as it usually is with these guys.

I feel more or less the same way. For me, somehow there's always a hint of 'artificiality' in the segments these days; it's almost like the bickering is planned sometimes. If you watch series 8 or 9, and compare, it become a little more obvious.

Don't get me wrong though, TopGear is still, bar none my favourite things to watch, I just wish it was 51% car show and 49% entertainment (not 50-50), that's all.

But I guess no matter what they do, it will still always be better than TopGear USA

I think TG USA should be renamed. If one watches it without top gear in mind, it isn't all that bad.

TG is becoming redundant however cars will always be released and you just gotta love how these guys do a car test or segment.

That said, I'm really liking where drive network on YouTube is going even sometimes evoTV, but I still can't put myself to watch fifth gear.

That, (except for road testament). Harry Metcalfe's evo diaries are really something to look at - the man know his facts, and is a proper 'petrol head' as well.
