I don't have that issue, I think there is something about your setup that causes this

uploadfromtaptalk1358473588606.jpg

It used to be worse, it's to a bearable extent now but since using the nexus 7 I rly want it to work like that. My s3 is on 4.1.1, what firmware is yours running? The Nexus 7 is on 4.2.1 atm.

My S3 runs with about the same amount of free ram yours shows atm.

I'm on 4.1.2 and that amount of free ram is just about normal since I have had this phone

And I don't have issues with apps reloading

Ok well maybe updating may help a bit. I'm currently stock and don't wanna root and flash just yet but I'm not seeing the OTA update to 4.1.2. How did you update yours, through Odin?

I usually run the latest stock rom from the following thread

And I use Mobile Odin to flash firmwares

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1646610

But if the problem lies with the apps that are reloading or with your setup, updating may not help

Why I don't think it's anything to do with what I have installed is that I recently got the phone so I've only put in a few apps plus the Nexus 7 has basically all the apps on my S3 + more. That's what confusing me, and leading me to believe it's the software itself. After opening 3/4 apps then going back to Chrome, all my tabs would reload and this would never happen on the Nexus 7

Did you use Odin or Kies?

Maybe you flashed the wrong radio?

there is literally nothing to complain about the fone. i have been using it for the past month and i gotta say. the only other fone i plan on getting is another droid 4. if only it had dual sim.

currently running on ics 4.0.4, unlocked, rooted and fm radio unlocked. debloated the rom myself of all the verizonware and crap apps.

so far using this phone i was able to troubleshoot a network issue at a job site and analyse an entire network in minutes to understand it's configuration. something that could have taken at least a half hr to do without the apps available for android.

at work i find myself carrying out my research tasks on my droid because its faster than the old work pcs running p4 processors. the printers are all hooked up to it so i can print anywhere on the network without a problem. setup took less than a minute. installed a 32gb sdcard with partitions for bootable isos off the sd like hirens bootcd for diagnostic tools etc, so all my work can be done from the fone.

basically, i feel in control of all my IT tasks with the reliability of android. backtrack 5 runs perfectly smooth in the internal sd partition without using any additional ram on the fone. free memory hovers around 340mb. next im going to try installing windows on it and see how it performs. as far as im concerned i have a full fledged laptop in my pocket.

iwhat?

Sent from my Droid 4 using Tapatalk 2 while watching naruto episodes in bed. lol

Double check the firmware's region you downloaded for, make sure to get one for the frequencies we have here. I think Brazil works for us too.

there are a few. but none with specs that top the D4. i searched thru all of them before getting the d4. i dont think they just eat up tasks and programs without flinching like my D4 does either. ive been waiting for a fone that does it all for a long time. years! im absolutely happy with the d4's performance. it does everything. most flash sites and video streaming work and the ones that dont it gives a direct download to the videofile when u press play. its a full on laptop replacement/mobile phone.

Droid 4? and i still rockin my Droid 1

Motorola Droid / Milestone is always nice for those who want a physical keyboard as well as touch...although u get accustomed to the touch screen very quickly and the physical keyboard just remains unused.

One of ur apps misbehaving. Check manage apps> running or go to battery usage and see ..what is draining most of ur battery would most likely be the most CPU intensive app
This is from my phone ..

How does tapatalk work on trinituner with you guys? any connection issues? a lot of the times it gives problems to load the pages, and i have to refresh, and it say failed to connect with the forum.
it is not the internet connection, tried it on flow and blink. it loads perfectly good on the computer. and other apps load perfectly good with the connection

Tapatalk is pain on Trinituner

Some bugs may be because of the app itself, and some is definitely because of this site, reason I say this is because I use Tapatalk on 4 other forums, with zero problems

I have had problems from the beginning here, one time it stopped working completely, I also have problems with this forum on 4 different PCs on all popular browsers, so yeh, it's Trinituner
