I trying to decide between an ipad mini and a galaxy tab 10.1.. price on the galaxy keeps bouncing between 300 and 350, at 300 I would go with that no doubt but 350 the smoothness of the ipad mini and build quality make me think about going that direction and fighting up with iTunes and all the drama(IMHO) to get data onto the device..

depends on if it can meet ur needs.
the screen looks a little cramped for me.
but its a good starter phone if its ur first android phone.

i'd personally go with a nexus 4 when someone travels if i was in the market for something.

Suffered with an iPod touch for a couple years, converting files from avi to mp4, never bothered to pay for an app to play other file types. Went Android and don't know of I can go back to having to use iTunes instead of just drag and drop, external sd cards etc..

the screen limits how much you can read and use, and typing is annoying except on swype. not all games run on it, but it generally moves pretty snappy and is good for most purposes. the battery life is excellent, 3 days medium usage leaves you with about 25% battery (with data off eh).
