Drive-by shooting at TTASA President's home - video pg3

Early this morning around 4:20am reports state that a vehicle slowed down and began firing shots at the Chase Village house of TTASA's President Mohammed Ali and wife Hon. Secretary Vera Ali. Initial reports state around 9 shots were fired, some shots entered the house through the windows. Luckily no one in the house was struck or hurt.
Unfortunately the shooters targeted witnesses who were standing over the road a couple buildings down (in front of Rich Gold); 5 people were shot as the vehicle drove off As yet no one has died.(UPDATE: Police reports are now saying that only one person was grazed by what may have been a bullet or material from a ricochet and no one else at the Ali's residence or at Rich Gold were injured).

News reports later today may have more details.

At this time we would like to extend our heartfelt concerns about this type of incident occurring to senior personnel within the motorsport community and others. We hope they can get past this trying time.

This is no time for fun and games.
Yes we know that many people were disgruntled with the way Ali ran TTASA. Whether they were justified in their claims or not is no reason to shoot up someone's home. We also cannot assume that this is a TTASA issue.

At the end of the day these are fellow people in motorsport and we should show some respect and genuine concern.

oh my. if it was ttasa related, this is quite unnecessary. a change of the guard is necessary, but not this way.

hopefully, whether this is ttasa related or not, that this episode makes him realize that holding on to stupid titles not worth it.

however if this was really intentional then the people behind it are truly cowards in motorsport
