Anyone looking for a good Bluetooth Stereo headset, look no futher than the LG HBS 730...

http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-To ... eo+headset

I've been using it for the last 5 months...just perfect.

Music is loud, crisp and clear, just as good or better than a pair of Samsung headsets that come with the higher end phones (note2, s3 etc) and call quality on both ends is superb. I dont go out without them.

Does it make sense buying an fiio e7 or e10 for use with Ath M50 headphones on my laptop? Or will I only get louder playback?

based on impedance, headphone amps with a good d/a/c bring out the true dynamics in a pair of cans.

Lol, thanks for the feedback fellas. On another note, if I were to consider upgrading the m50's, what would be a logical choice? Keeping under the 250USD price range that is.

If you're stepping up then try the Beyerdynamic DT990 or the Grado Prestige SR series. There are some near $300. Both these manufacturers get into the $1000's easily with some of the best studio equipment.

Also if you're intending on going that high in audiophile range, may I suggest Vinyl or Blu-ray Audio to obtain what the artist really intended for you to hear with absolutely no compression. BD Audio sampling is so high that it really does match the master record perfectly.

it makes perfect sense.

I had the ATH m50 in the past.

Headphone amp has nothing to do with loudness. This isn't the same as a home or car system, headphone amp is to actually drive the headphone drivers properly so they can exert their full potential/

Running high end headphones without a quality AMP like the fiio which happens to be quality AMP btw, is like putting a B14 Engine in a MACK Truck. No other way to explain it so perfectly.

A little over a year my charging port is also faulty (have to wiggle it to get charging started), ear cup material flaking off and and adjustable headband is breaking at the stress points on both sides. Audio also cuts out ta randomly for 10 seconds at a time. Also not sure where to go from here.

Did you all contact Logitech? U do know they offer great warranty on these sort of claims. They even process an item without a return.

Anyone used a Razer Chimaera 5.1 Wireless yet?

And a Fiio e17 amp.

What are you all thoughts on the set up?

Have been enjoying the sound that comes through my Sony MDR-V6... Pretty decent headphones as an introduction to better sound quality (there is a reason it is the standard for studio monitor headphones).... the ear pads will disintegrate though but replacements are available.

As headphones are only part of the equation, I must mention that music is played through the onboard realtek chipset (onboard audio has come a very long way.) Music Player is winamp with no effects or boosts.

It just sounds so Darn good...
Bought an MDR-7506 as well which is said to be the replacement for the v6 and these sound very good as well.

These headphones have "flat" response and are considered the main rivals of the audio technica ATH-M50:smile:
