greddy e-manage blue..

Postby THE SYNDICATE » October 28th, 2012, 12:39 pm

the manual says the power supply to the unit is '12v' then it says 'after connection completed turn ignition on and see if power light is green'

i'm a bit confused here as to this wire. do i give it an ignition or direct 12?
if the unit needs a direct 12 to keep memory or something i can understand that, but won't the power light remain on?

if i give it the ignition 12 the power will be cut completely when switch is turned of....unless the unit uses the direct 12 and only when the ignition is turned on it 'pings' the tps or injector and it turns on?

thanks in advance for ur replies!

i powered the unit up.....i didn't start the vehicle.

the active light blinks.(no pattern or sequence. i counted up to forty blinks and it still didn't stop)

the interaction light illuminates a solid orange.

nothing is blinking red.

is the active light supposed to be blinking green like this?

i'm getting some red blinks. two red blinks then about eighty green then twelve red then the light goes off!

the manual says two red is air flow signal, but that is correct in my wiring,it has nothing about twelve red!

sigh!
