Asus laptop repair

Postby vinton13 » October 22nd, 2012, 5:29 pm

Hey guys.

I'm looking for a place that repairs Asus laptops around the Chaguanas/Curepe area.
Specifically I need the keyboard changed. I already bought the keyboard, just need someone to install it in the lappy.

I checked Super Technologies in Curepe, they said they don't repair Asus laptops.
Suggestions?

Cheers in advance.

You can do it yourself and save some money. Service manuals for laptops are available online. Just google them

However, if you have the tools and a delicate hand, it's an easy do-it-yourself thing to replace a laptop keyboard.

Nothing google and/or youtube can't help you with, if it really is just the keyboard that needs changing.

This is a fairly easy do-it-yourself job. What model ASUS? I'll find and post the link to repair.

Usually I would do it myself, but its pop's laptop and he doesn't want me to touch it anywhere beyond its exterior. :|

It's the Asus A53Z-AS61 though.

This is the best video I could find.

See this instruction as well:

Same procedure for my own ASUS laptop, a UL30A.

Save your money and do it when he's not looking.

Hmmm...it's very similar to his indeed. I might just persuade pops.
