I've read some good reviews on the Gliptone. Never used though.
Connolly seems to be the standard for some higher end brands(Range Rover, Aston Martin, Jaguar, mostly brits+Ferarri basically), but from reading their site it seems to matter too much what type of leather you have and it's also an expensive experiment to do now when I am happy with other products. If I end up with Nappa leather sometime I'll try it. :)

As for the wheel wells : All kinda ting. A combination of brushes+sponge, p21S TAW, Kerosene, Purple Blaster, all kinda ting. Whatever it needs.
Undercarrige I kyah reach on my car too easily. But spray on P21S and reach what I could with the brushes.. daiz all. I should start using a lift, but not quite yet I guess.

Many dressings you could put on the wheel well. What I really want is an aerosol though. Can't import those and haven't found in Trini. If anyone knows of any please let me know.
The AG looks nice, but one puddle and it washes off.

I know some of you all here "walk on silk". But to go so far and apply wheel well dressing to a car that is driven on the roads of T&T, you all had to also be "driving on silk".

I used the Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray Dressing and the Chemical Guys Bare Bones. Both of them are really nice. I would really like to get my hands on an aerosol as well like Adams in and out spray.

Might try the Griot's undercarriage spray. Although it looks as though I shouldn't ship it.

Aaron you don't find that way too shiny? :)

Ever used the HDWax before? Let us know how you use it and what you think. Fairly certain you will like the finish, especially the beading. Have yet to come across anything that sheds water like HDwax.
Vinyl and Rubber care is great for inside. Not shiny, looks black, doesn't feel bad. But don't even attempt to use it on the outside trim or anything. One drop of water and it'll run.

First time using it, I was planning on getting EGP, but figured the HD would be the better investment when I had a chance to check out the products in person. Today I did a wash with AG Bodywork Shampoo, AG Custom Wheel Cleaner on wheels, AG Intensive Tar Remover where needed, clayed with Griot's Clay, AG SRP (2 passes), waxed with AG HD wax and the exterior glass was done with AG Glass polish.

The interior with done in about 10 minutes with AG interior shampoo, AG Vinyl & Rubber Care and interior glass with AG Fast Glass.
I wanted to do paint correction, but I had lent out my buffer, so only handwork today.

I'm looking forward to testing the durability of the wax here. Otherwise, it was very easy to work with. I dampened the sponge applicator, took a very light dab of the wax and applied it per panel. I applied it to the whole car and left it on for ten minutes or so, then took the finishing cloth and buffed the wax off. It came off very easily (much easier than the Griot's BoS Wax). Hopefully, there's some sun tomorrow to highlight the finish, as it was dark when I finished the car.

Sounds good. HDWax actually is a little more difficult to use than many other's. If you consider that very easy, I really wonder what you'll think of the AutoFinesse Soul or the Barrier Reef that Karim uses. Those come off if the edge of the cloth passes over it before you even get to wiping that section.
One thing, you probably should have done another pass at buffing with another clean cloth after. The HDwax tends to leave a little bit of oily residue after first wipe. Also, what was your cure time like? 30mins? 1hr? You say 10mins, but that you applied to the whole car, which means some parts got very long cure times?

I'll check it out in the morning for that residue and buff.
Yes, it was probably closer to 30-35mins, as I did the application to the panels and removal from the panels in the same panel order. I also did the finger streak test to ensure it was dry on each panel first.

Silent just make sure and use the cloth that came with the HD Wax to buff if off. The cloth is specially designed to get maximum results when taking of HD wax.

Yep, there was no residue when I checked this morning, and it was suggested to do another wax coat, so I did it then. Lots of beading. No regrets on the buy just yet. I'd like to see how durable it is in our climate.

Here's a thread on the durability of some waxes: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... p?t=76435/
They seem to like the HD Wax too.

That's pretty soon to do another coat. Hope it holds up well. It is easily one of the best beading waxes around I believe. And it does last pretty long. I've had some odd hazing issues with HDWax on two vehicles, and then not on others. Pretty strange. Never figured out the reason. Glad you didn't have that problem.

Hey Karim, where do you get the blue tape (Megs) for the rubbers and edges when detailing? I got the Griots buffer finally. Wanna give it a run :)

kevinsonny : Nice to see you doing some work there. One comment though, you wasted some time with the mother's sealer and glaze since the Meguiar's NXT is an AIO product, not really a pure wax and hence has cleaners and would have removed the mothers glaze/sealer. Actually, it doesn't have any 'wax' in it at all since it's synthetic so the name is misleading. So what you really have there is clay/polish/tech wax. Which Mother's polish did you use also? the one from their 3step system? or the AIO? Next time stop at the sealer or get a pure wax.

jdeen : if you can't find the Meguiar's tape use the 3M painters tape. Works fine, and is easy to find in local hardwares in varying thicknesses too! Or you could bring in your tape.
