Yep, O2 sensor could be failing. You can temporarily reset the light by removing the battery poles for some time.

Also read on another forum that it can be your solenoids.

oh christ. an On check engine light means some sensor is not sending the correct signal.
a diagnostic will show which one.

but feel free to randomly swap them out in the hope you find the right one.

See why it's a good idea to scan it before u start buying oxygen sensors all willy-nilly?

See if u could look up a part number and order it online.

shift solenoids, P0770 code should come up. Failure can be caused by dirty transmission fluid, or low fluid or lack of fluid flow caused by a dirty filter.

Troubleshooting

First step, check the transmission fluid level with the engine warmed up and running, trans in park. Make sure its in the hot range. If all is well there, find the solenoid and ensure the connection is tight and there isn't damage to the harness. If the fluid does turn out to be low, top it up and get the code cleared, see if it trips again. I would DEFINETLY recommend getting that transmission filter changed ASAP, with proper grade transmission fluid.

You can check here for the shift solenoids http://toyotapartsbarn.com/Default.shtm

Let us know how it works out.
