Need to get me one of those guns for use with a pressure washer too. Thus far the foamaster gun isn't working too badly though.

Karim & others, could Autoglym Super Resin Polish be applied using a DA polisher? Or it's strictly by hand?

Nice, i use these and the L&C CCS pads. What condition is the finish that you're working on? I noticed that you're doing some cutting as well.

Pioneer : SRP as mentioned can be used by DA also, but on many vehicles that require the little correction of just SRP there is little or no gain to using the machine. Unless you're going for a heavier cutting pad, it probably won't actually make any difference at all. Also, don't bother with too many passes during the same application. It starts drying too quickly to bother.
I also have asked AG about this and they said it CAN be done, but they don't recommend it as it really offers no gain and that SRP and UDS were designed specifically with hand application in mind.
I still do it sometimes however just for the quick coverage of large flat areas.

Also, SRP has some sealant in it which you know already and you shouldn't seal a car so soon after repainting. Need to wait like a month to ensure it de-gasses properly. So even if it feels rough, and doesn't look it's best yet, just wait a little.

I use the PC7424xp, the pads vary based on the condition of the paint. I use the lake and country ccs pads: the orange and the white pads do my polishing work. The red and gold pads for sealant.

^^Thanks guys, in time I will invest in one. But my wax and polish are done so I have to buy more, any recommendations for a good polish and wax beside autoglym (it's too expensive)? Also thinking of using meguiar's ultimate compound to get rid of some swirl marks on the paint of a black triton, is this safe? Or will I ruin the paint?

Would be using products by hand btw.

It should be fine. Use it by hand and keep checking your surface. Don't cut more than you need to. And don't try to cut off every little mark. When you get like 95% call that good until more return. It's safer this way, especially if you don't know your paint depth.
Need to follow with something lighter after. I'd suggest the SRP but if you think that's too expensive then look into just doing the Meguiar's NXT after. Should be ok with that.

I don't like to use waxes as my first layer of paint protection i normally use:

Klasse AIO
Klasse HGSG

And i've started using collinite 845 on top of that with excellent results.

Collinite is supposed to last quite long. Little more difficult than average to use though?
And that excessively glossy look isn't quite my thing. It's a matter of preference I guess. You probably wax twice a year with that combo?

Yep pretty much. I maintain four cars with this combo, i use Mothers wash and wax in between waxes (lazy man style). I got pretty frustrated when i first started using the collinite, i used to be in pain after buffing that sheit off cause i was applying by hand. The wax was thick and gooey but i learned a few tricks online to control the consistency of the wax using a waterbath and then applying via DA. the thinner the better with the 845.

Thinner is better with basically everything. Once you're sure you're getting full coverage, always go thin. I think you could do fine by hand also, but of course, since it's a liquid you should be fine by machine also.
And I believe even on their own site Collinite says not to let that wax dry or else you won't be able to buff it off. It's one of those "panel at a time quickly" sort of waxes. I've not tried it myself to see the difference in difficulty between wet/dry though.

HHmm so it's between collinite and meguiar's? I like the glossy look so I think I'd try the collinite wax. Do they have a polish as well? Also where in South do I get it? Usually buy car care stuff at bel air in marabella

You won't find collinite 845 locally. Www.autogeek.net has it at a great price.
