As the topic says, the RFW light on the dash not coming off...changed the switch and its still remaining on!! However the 4WD comes on and off when selected by the shifter normal BUT the 4WD and RFW light remaining on, on the dash... Any suggestion guys??

The RFW remains on even after switching to 2WD and this is normal until you press the switch. Sounds to me that your vacuum system that controls the switching may be at fault and this is why it is not working. There are a couple of relays that control that too and these are close to the intake manifold I think.

if your preliminary checks dont solve de problem... im almost sure that the two wires comin from the 4wd indicator sensor on the transfer case are touching check dat or the sensor is shorting....
