They quoted me a price of $7100....VI.......

Think I'll park up the car and travel to work..........

RORO / FU... ftw....

Correct me if I am wrong, but that price was for the whole axle with the joint?
My dad had to do the same with his suzuki company car. The joint "can't" be bought by itself.

i would have diagreed with OP on this statement a month ago, but LSM cld firetruck themselves.

car went to service two weeks ago, breaks light on the dashboard starts coming back on, calls stealership and they say bring it in, turns out brake fluid low, front disc pads needed to be changed and rotors polished....run me 1358 after a discount....mind u this car just serviced two weeks ago and brakes and fluid were supposed to be checked and inspected, so two weeks ago they didn't know they pads needed to change!!!

^^^ A visual inspection of the pads when the light first comes on would show they have a LOT of life left. I need to do the same on mine though. I topped up the fluid but check the pads every month when I switch to race tyres. Been about 4-6 months since the light came on. They're now low so it's time drop the rotors to a machine shop to resurface and buy new pads at the firm.
