Who do you think gives the best value in Trinidad? if know any agents personally please suggest also. Thanks.

Run a search, i think it was previously discussed.

There is basically Whole life, and Term life insurance.
Term meaning for a limited time; eg to age 60, afterwhich all your contributions go down the drain, or in the Universal plans there is a cashout option, and it matures at age 99, or when you die whichever comes first.

Shop around, talk to different agents and see what the rates are like.
I have 2 policies, one with Sagicor (I can put you onto a manager I deal with) and one with TATIL.

annuity is pension ... when it matures u cash in; lump-some & or monthly income .. it covers u after retirement
Life insurance is when u die your beneficiary cashes in like your spouse & children... it covers them financially because u aren't there to support them anymore. If ur beneficiary is estate T&T law states ur wife gets 50% & your kids split the other 50%

On a real if u want the best. go and talk to an insurance broker.. not an agent.. a broker..
agent are tied to one company..
brokers are not.. and look for the best deals from all.

brokers will handle yr general and life insurance on behalf of u. they drive cost down and help u especially in claims.. claims taking long..hmm obviously u dont have a broker.

it doesnt cost u anything.. they make money on commission and do not add charges on your premium.

good brokers are but not limited to.. Agostini, M and M, Comprehensive, PRFC, Maibrol. TTICL, Sterling, 21st Century..

best advice u can ever receive is from a broker.
