Chelsea Football Club today received notification from the Crown Prosecution Service that John Terry has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.

John has made it clear he denies the charge and is determined to do all he can to prove his innocence.

Chelsea FC has always been fully supportive of John in this matter and there is no question that we will continue to be so.

The club finds all forms of discrimination abhorrent and we are proud of the work we undertake campaigning on this important issue.

Chelsea will not be commenting further on the subject while the legal process runs its course.

Btw, just finished looking at the replay of the Wolves match....they really marked Torres and Mata hard, yet I’m still not seeing Torres trying as hard as Mata to get away from them....self preservation is a beyotch. I wanna see if AVB gonna start Torres next match or give Drogs or Malouda a chance. Personally I’d hate to see Malouda leave Chelsea.....with Anelka already gone, he remains the only Frenchman on the squad.

I find Terry taking a back seat to Luiz on de field these days....almost like he saying “You young and have energy....fix up nah!”

The team really failed to impress as a whole....first 25 minutes was all Blues (as usual) and then the long passes started. Individual performances I thought were good...Ramirez of course, Mata and Lampard.
