just curious as how would this midrange sound.heard deltas before and imo, they performed better and the midbass frequency and sounded rather sheity at higher frequencies.I saw it in the panel van.again just curious as to what are your views?

actually, I could agree with u there...nice neat cuts, no visible wood filler (none at all if possible), no pencil lines or screws showing (I love countersunk shiztnit!), finisher plates with nice rounded edges...yeah...

we actually have a dreadman custom builder here on the forums BTW...it is rumoured, when he's building a guitar body or a cabinet, he feels the lines in the dark to know if it's perfect

On deltas?

I like the 10A for the price but they require a bit of help frm a proper designed ported enclosure to really get the smoother transitions under 200hrtz. If you look at the graphs on that driver you would understand that the higher freqs really need a bit of eq to get it right.

The delta pro 12A imo is better suited for a 100-2000htz application than the 10a imo.

As for 2-10's to a horn, I dont see why not, horns are generally more sensitive than a typical transducer and can keep up with a pair of 10a's while the 10's duty can be spilt between two to provide a louder/cleaner output. Since the delta's are only 350rms this allows for a less stress over the speaker and more cone area, win win.
