there is no need for a 'fusable" dist block unless you are looking at an install for display

ok... i thought that the purpose for this item was to split the current wire between two amplifiers... If there is no need for it do you suggest i run two lengths of power wire from the battery???
pls bear with me i am a real noob at this....

I think what he means is you dont need extra fuses in the back beacuse the amps already have fuses. So just fuse the power wire up front and you dont need them in the back.

Seeing as you already have it just use a the closest fuses you could get to the onboard fuses of the amps.

For the front, the 125amp would work, ensure all your connections are safe, wires arent ran near sharp surfaces and you shouldnt ever have to worry about fuses again.

System Build Advice Needed

Ok cool thanks for clearing that up... So the 125 will go up front with by the battery but will the 100 amp fuse be enough for the amplifier with the 90 amp fuse? How much more amps should the fuses be rated than the fuses on the amplifiers?

they shouldn't.

can be either equal or about 10A less.

so i am at it again, i have added an audio control matrix to the mix of equipment i have listed in my post above and this is how i picture it coming together:

The pwm19 would be used for bass processing and the 7x0 would be used for mid&highs
The matrix would come next then the amps, the 4ch amp, ch1&2 will be used for the door speakers (6" coaxial) and ch3&4 will be bridged for the eights in the back dash. The bass amp is rated at 600rms at 4ohms so the sub is wired to 4ohms.

I was wondering if replacing the two preamps with a crossover would be a good idea seeing that i should be able to get better processing compared to a preamp???
All comments are welcomed...

why use 2 preamps , what criteria makes 1 preamp better for bass & 1 better for mids\highs ? .... :|

I have no reason really for using the two, just exploring different thoughts, seeking advice from the experienced folks as to what will work and what will not.

That's y i was wondering if replacing the preamps with a crossover would be a good idea, the reason for this is that with a crossover the system can have a wider range of tunning capabilities (at least to me)...

Another thought was to eliminate the two preamps and just run the matrix n use the deck processing alone...

Using a matrix in this system is wasting equipment . better to spend the money on a big 3 upgrade .

i got myself a pair of these speakers due to a trade from a fellow tuner, don't now much about this model, accustomed to hearing bout alphas, betas or deltas... was just wondering if these are any good compared to the more pop brands and if it makes any sense replacing my betas with these...

i think these are lower power rating than the betas, i had a pair of 10" in these valtec, not good on the low mid response like the beta.

I edited the list of equipment... everything u see there is installed except for the valtecs, the two eights are in a fabricated backdash with the bullets...

I think i might fabricate a new backdash for the two tens, eights & bullets... not too keen on the flare box thing...
