I dont want the processed crap in the supermarkets, need it pure and somewhere easily accessible so i can make the run often when its finished.

When buying honey in supermarkets look for bottles with Apiary Number. They can't afford to bottle sugar water cause you could report it to the Min. of Agri and they could lose their number.

Someone told me about the darker the color the more pure it is? i an not a pro in these things, but i still find the pure ones taste different from those at the supermarket

There is a house on the EMR heading to Wallerfield/ Valencia that has a honey sign up. Or you can call the Apiaries Unit and they might be able to put you onto farmers who sell

different colours of honey is just the type of flowers that would be in season that the bees would have been around

There is an area known as the "Honey Corner" on the Toco Main rd in Matura, there's a gravel pit opposite a bar, it's the first house on the left in the side road. Prefer to buy honey in the country side from the people who bottle it themselves, it's usually cheaper too.
