The guy I went to checked to make sure my rear power windows could go down. There's a long checklist they're supposed to go through to see if the car is road worthy.

Need 2 new tyres, fix a minor oil leak, and fix steering boot before it can pass.
Got an official paper stating what has to be fixed. I have six weeks to fix said issues and return to inspection station to pass inspection. Paper can be shown to police to avoid ticket for that same 6 weeks (keep in car!).
There is a $115 fee to re-inspect if 6 weeks passes after initial inspection.

no problems, feel very relieved
no stickers in stock though, have to collect mines later on.

apparently you didn't read the law....you still need your documents and sticker
Stephon. wrote:WAIT, has anyone ever gotten stopped for not having an inspection sticker on their car though? Just wondering because it seems like the only time the police stops cars is when there's a state of emergency or if they see you driving on the shoulder.
How many fetes have there been so far for the carnival season? How many officers did you see with breathalyzers outside of said fetes? This law is gonna be a fad just like all the other laws we have in the country anyways. I saw a number of people stumbling out of fetes into driver seats in full view of officers and they didn't exactly react on it so I dunno, kanyeshrug.jpg
