that looks like the Chinese lanterns that i saw in St Augustine new years or could be The Soucouyant (Sukuyat) from Lopinot that get away for the new year, it must of blown away with the hard wind

i saw it from Couva while it was burning out.....it was over Waterloo area it split in two little balls an then disappeared....was moving to slowly to be a meteor

yesterday a friend was telling me about a new firework that does that.....so could be that

if it's not a flare,it's a new thing on the market right now...it's a kinda balloon filled with helium,when fuse is lighted,it would result in it floating around until the gas goes out..usually lasts for an 1hr or so..only $40 for it btw.just like the pic the OP posted.

it's a flare..saw a ton of them from my vantage point in the hills over the weekend

saw two of this in chag when fireworks were going off old years night......seems as though it was a flare or some sorta fireworks that didnt explode.....dont think its a UFO......

That is some kinda new fireworks. I saw five of those in the sky on my side last night, either that or they're alien ships travelling across the earth masquerading as fireworks.
