The report also claimed the Korean press are running stories that confirm Samsung Electronics is producing chips for the Apple branded HDTV, while Sharp will supply the displays.
excellent, Samsung has been doing great in the HDTV arena and Sharp is now the manufacturer of ELITE brand HDTVs which has the reputation of being the king of all HDTV displays for picture quality when it was done as Pioneer ELITE.

should be a top notch product!

Apple TV needs a 1080p upgrade from the current 720p limit

Ok guys, I am posting this here for general information. If you are thinking about getting an iPhone 4S you will need to upgrade your sim card if it is the older version. I just found a discarded sim (newer version) and installed in my 4S and it worked perfectly. The original sim (8+ years old) will not work. I have posted a picture of what an old (left) and new (right) one looks like. Notice the contacts are a different shape. I dont know of any other way to tell which is the newer one. I hope this helps someone as it took me the past 20hrs to solve!

My 1st post iOS 5 update not exactly going as smoothly I was thinking it would. Main problem seems to be the apps. I have my apps in alphabetical order & A through O look like they installed fine, but from there it seems to have stalled. I'm guessing its iCloud again (as I have my backup stored there).
Now trying another restore from a backup as I checked one of them & noticed all of the data was gone.

Update: Now going to try a full restore from iTunes to see if it helps. The iCloud backup is what I am trying to access & it was from 7:48am this morning. The next backup I have available is from October not long after iOS 5 was released. Oye. Just when it looked like it was finished... :x

Now it seems none of my apps are installing. All I am seeing are their icons, slightly blacked out with "Waiting..." for their names. Hmmm...

You have anything modifying the springboard via Cydia?
i.e did you get any errors you missed on the UNIX install screen (the black screen that Cydia shows)?

Had similar problems.

Hmmm, I think I did, though I can't remember which things I was installing from there that gave the error. I don't install much from Cydia these days though short of biteSMS, OpenSSH, etc.

Having a small issue guys,
I am tryin to install Fifa 12 on my iPhone 4, but it is telling me I do not have enough space to instal it.
However, there is 2.2 gb offree space in the phone.
FIFA is 1.1 gb.
Is there any cap or space allocation on these devices that would limit my space usage?

^^^

1.1 GB is the size of the downloaded FIFA file, when installed it may take up more space and your remaining 2.2 GB probably isn't enough. Try freeing up more space.

u need to take off the setting that allows the phone to save the download as an archive and just set the option to install automatically after downloaded....with the option that enables u to actually save the software and then install it seperately it takes up twice the space so thats why u dont have the space available...

Using Installous?

When you open it, there is a setting option in the top right hand corner I believe. Check the setting to install automatically.
