^^^ here's the story behind that.

During a Microsoft Store grand opening in McLean, Virginia.

Cult of Mac reported that during the event, the company hired a DJ to entertain the crowd. As the DJ played some tunes, employees quickly realized he was using a MacBook Pro. After the faux pas was noted they had the poor sap place a Microsoft Store decal over the Apple logo. Although that a DJ is using a Mac doesn’t surprise me, the fact that they made him cover it up does.

The store was pretty full, with some customers waiting in line for hours. However, most of the crowd wasn’t there to rush and buy Microsoft products. Free tickets were being given away for a sponsored Joe Jonas concert that was planned for the following weekend.

As Apple products become more popular it wouldn’t be unexpected to see more of these PR blunders. Whether you are an Apple fan, an Android fan or a Microsoft fan, there will always be some sort of overlap. Just remember, even Apple’s iCloud is powered by Microsoft’s Azure and Amazon’s cloud possibly run on HP servers.

I'd like to get some testimonials about the cases you guys use on the iPhone 4.
There are a lot of cheap cases that do nothing for aesthetics or protection, as well as some overkill cases (Otterbox Defender) which do well to protect but there is no beauty in the phone, and Construction Site protection.
Thanks.

I have a knockoff bumper case, CF vinyl all over and a replacement back cover. Only compromise with the back cover is there is no oleophobic coating over the camera lens so it attracts finger prints.

arks duane how he protects his

Actually I bought on of the new models, a grey/yellow combo w/ a white iphn4, it looks pretty decent. Otterbox have some new color combos. & is not that bulky too. Protection wise, I find the otterbox cases real official. But check this list & see what suits ya

Had an Otterbox Commuter case ... worked very well and didn't add too much bulk.

I really liked this too though.

i know that the factory unlocked is better than the gevey sim BS with the iPhone 4, if both choices were for the same model i was goin factory unlocked no doubt but i'm torn given the pricing & the storage spaces...... & yea, games/apps/music is a big thing for me so i just checking with other iPhone tuners to get a feedback/a help out with my decision

I never had any issues with the gevey as I kept my device on 4.2.1 and then upgraded to 4.3.3 without updating the BB.

And if you jailbreak, you will be installing all kinda stuff.

Your preference in the end

yes but its harder to find one on that baseband. right now, i'd take a factory unlocked over anything. You can update to any firmware when it drops.

know a guy selling one with that baseband & using a gevey sim...... if i know how to do the jailbreak & unlock without a gevey sim, i might prefer that (given the degree of difficulty behind the process).

i used to a jailbroken 3g so that's why i leanin towards a jailbreak/unlock without the gevey sim.... but if i have to use a gevey sim.... i see how that can be frustrating to other tuners in this thread.
