I sense men (especially of a certain demographic) are becoming marginalized and feel a sense of loss of 'masculinity' by the women that are dominating the employment opportunities.

I don't think anyone deserves being raped, no matter how careless their actions were but to me, young women in Trinidad need to really be more mindful. Why would you leave home at 4am...to go to a bachelor party??? As far as I know bachelor party = boys lime.

ent dat was this weekend too??
In one of the incidents, a woman was gang-raped and grievously sexually assaulted by more than four men after she was taken to a bachelor party in Maraval.
Police said the woman was asleep at her home around 3. a.m. when she realised someone was having sex with her under her sheets. The woman, police said, initially thought it was her boyfriend who had left earlier and had returned.
The woman, who police said told them that she normally sleeps without clothing, then realised it was not her boyfriend.
She then pulled off the sheets and began fighting with the suspect. During the scuffle, the woman burst the suspect's head with a glass bottle which caused him to flee the house. The 27-year-old man later handed himself over to police in company with his mother.
