^^^ agreed...70 odd years after dey invent d ting and pan players (few of whom could read music to begin with) STILL playing in a shed?!
Seventy-something years later, NOBODY have a sound-proof pan rehearsal theatre so 120 players beating d ting outta tune doh disturb everybody in a 1 mile radius?!

Agreed that the real thrill is going to the panyards and hearing them jam, but an enclosed (maybe ampitheatre styled) structure would accommodate an audience while better protecting from the elements, make players and listeners more comfortable than an old log or bench or bleachers AND keep the sound in. So you hear pan music when you want to go hear them.
I love mih pan music eh. Been playing since I was 8 years old. But I eh hadda hear it every night in d run-up to Carnival so.

who really cares about FireOne?

don't know what the big hoorah was about in writing an article about a company, as if they are the only one who imports pyrotechnics.
