You should get a kit... its really an advanced kit. I used it to teach Robotics, programming and Software design.

Expose your kids early and they can have alot of fun while learning some stuff that they teach at UWI level.

What display ideas ya'll have for wall-mounted displays?...putting them thing on a table is very impractical for me...

Was thinking some shelves and custom plexi/glass covers?

Ideas?

I had quite a few sets growing up.
Still build some from time to time..

Mid 90s Lego > all. that was before they sold out to big licensing and you could have a castle set and not be PC about it.

i never had an actual castle set though, just built fortresses with the regular blocks :|

had most of these, still have majority of the pieces too, nothing too major missing.

dan!!!!....upper left corner...that was the first real set i could remember having...i still remember it to this day...that and the full catalog it came with. Cant afford some of those sets now nuh :?

Cj, what model# is that Star Wars set you posted? that thing looks fcuking awesome!

Smurf, i went nuts for the Mtron and Blacktron series lego, really awesome pieces, could have made my own spaceships with even MORE fires than factory :P

the aquanauts were some bess pieces too, i really wanted this one in that series:
