NP tanker overturns on highway
Monday 26th September, 2011

The Ministry of Transport has advised that an NP Service tanker has overturned on the southbound lane of the Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of Couva.

The accident happened around 3pm. The Ministry said the fuel has been contained and there were no reports of spillage.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully and use alternative routes where possible. The Southern Main Road and Brasso Caparo Road are two such alternative routes.
