Chelsea yea

Citeh no...those noisey neighbors are a bit high on life right now...

Anyone else a lil worried that this is undoubtedly the best start in about 4 years? I know usually we get into the game after the Christmas break which matters most when all the rest are running out of steam. I know the team is young and men have alot of energy but we battling on 4 fronts.

League, FA, UCL and Carling. While I know the FA and Carling aren't high on the list of priorities I wonder if the youngings could handle all that jamming...

Unless you want to count the more experienced players being rested.....

I am somewhat worried by the youth of our team, relative to these other 'experienced' teams in Europe, but i have faith in them to make it work as a team.

Hernandez 23

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed he will turn to the more experienced members of his Manchester United squad when they get their UEFA Champions League campaign under way at Benfica.

United will face the Portuguese giants in Lisbon on Wednesday and manager Ferguson is under no illusions over the importance of the clash.
Youngsters such as Chris Smalling, Tom Cleverley and Phil Jones have helped United to four consecutive victories in their opening Premier League games.
But the Scottish manager believes Europe's elite club competition is a different matter.
"My team in Lisbon might be different on an issue of experience," Ferguson told United's official website.

"We've also got Darren Fletcher back fit. He's looking good and did well with Scotland last week. I think we'll need to have more experience in the game.
"The important thing is to qualify. Benfica away from home is the kind of the game you have to respect."
Young midfielder Cleverley has already been ruled out of the Portugal encounter after damaging ligaments in his foot during Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Bolton.
Michael Carrick stepped in at the Reebok Stadium and could provide the experience Ferguson is referring to on Wednesday, while Fletcher is also an old hand in Europe.
"I think the hardest part for us will be picking the midfield in that particular game," added the manager. "That area will be the biggest challenge.
"They operate with three midfield players in there. They don't play anyone off the front. They play three actual midfield players so we'll have to have a look at that."

My Utd brothers .... 3 points in August is worth the same as 3 points in May. The important thing is we keep the winning mentality...... the bench is very deep. So Clevers injury won't stop the momentum...all due respect to Benfica but I don't see them upsetting the Utd train...GGMU

good point away from home. This is the most challenging game Utd has had for the season thus far. We need stern tests like this in order to be better able to compete in the UCL. Once again pure class from Giggsy ....GGMU!!!!

If you see these ManUre fans on fb "Yeah good result... We go take the draw" HAHAHA Dude you just Drew with a nothing team. You're supposedly the best team in the world right? All powerful right? Ppl can't even name 3 players starting for Benfica lol. Look you guys need to concentrate on your jokey side and keep out of big side business. PRAY you don't meet a Real or Barca this year.
