contemplating whether to go in this new imax theatre to see the transformers 3. best part of the preview is when the cars got into accident and on collision started to transform

the thing is, the big floating things, are supposed to be huge, but seeing something in 3d makes me feel that it is small, so in my mind i goin to see something small floating near. what ever i see in 3d i interpret that as near/small. the farther away sumthing is, the more 2d it gets to me.

i would like the option to see it 2d first to see the scale of the images then 3d to get the visual sugar rush.
