Primera Hyper CVT M6 Problem

Postby Newbie » June 16th, 2011, 10:00 pm

ok this is the problem
the car feels like its holding back,
when the car is idling i can rev all the way up no problems at all, when im driving as soon as i take off the rpm will go up to 2000-2600 then die down to 1000 and stay there for about 3-4 seconds then go back up. now through out the entire rpm range, i have very little power, when i mash down the rpm will go up revving up 4000 and up and the car slowly gains speed, it feels like the car holding back. i changed the Cam Position Sensor already, because previously it used to stutter, well after changing that it doesn't stutter anymore, now its holding back any ideas.

Sounds like the stepping motor for the transmission. I had a similar problem with mine and had to get it replace by a transmission specialist and everything was working. I suggest you check out someone who specializes with these things. I would Recommend Jai's in Aranjuez if necessary since he fixed mine a long time ago.
