WTK TREADMILL PROBLEMS I NEED HELP

Postby unique concept » June 28th, 2011, 11:36 pm

I have a CARDIO TRAINER 600 treadmill over a year now which i hardly use. I plugged in the unit and it doesn't start up after about 3mins it starts up by it self without the safety key in the slot .the speed goes up and the incline only move up 1 level and the unit doesn't stop when you remove the safe key or press stop. the unit will only stop when you unplug or turnoff the main on/off switch

Check the book on how to get into the diagnostic mode.
Open the unit and somewhere inside there will be a hidden technical document for only service men.

Here is a breakdown of what may be happening..

Before you get on it it scans your body profile and it goes from there. Alot of new equipment have one of those sensors that knows how fat you are and therefore sets itself to the level and timeframe that it thinks you should run for.

1.) 3 Minute startup- because the unit has a 'brain' it takes that long to contemplete whether or not it wants you to step your fat ass on it and potentially stomp the sh1t out of it.

2.) It starts without the safety key- this model is also known as the Carpe Diem model and will after scanning your body, tend to sacrifice itself for the better of the world

3.) The only way to stop it is to unplug it- this once again is a special feature whereby it makes the lazy go that 4 extra steps just to stop exersizing..irony at its best.

if all else fails, sell it for scrap; hold a bucket of KFC and stand on the side of the beetham and you will get to do all the running you want.
