It will be showing in cinema for most of the summer. If I want to see it in IMAX I'll wait - no biggy.ZeroOne wrote:Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:not sure I understand what you mean thereZeroOne wrote:Waiting to see TF around the end of the July / August holidays makes no sense everyone is going to watch it with in its first 2 weeks.
TF3 opening approximately a day from now.
Digicel IMAX not sure when they showing TF, it could be over 15/30 days from now at earliest. Are you going to wait soo long to see TF?
Even if you see TF in a regular cinema then watch it when IMAX opens you wont be "wowed" as much as initially seeing it in IMAX. Its more economical to choose another movie to watch in IMAX.
However I don't think any other movie is going to be as good as TF3 In IMAX.
Therefore waiting to see TF3 exclusively in IMAX=no sense.
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Is In 3D But Not In IMAX 3D
Nelson; who always maintains a good friendship with Michael Bay Fans, let us in on another tidbit from Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.
When asked about the IMAX 3D version of Transformers 3, he replied…
“There will be a 3D reel but it's not in IMAX format (70mm). IIRC, they did not use Imax cameras this time around.”
“Last I heard, these Sony 3D camera rigs aren't 70mm.”
Nelson is referring to the Sony Pace 3D Camera. This is the same camera used by James Cameron for his movie “Avatar”. If you want to know more about the camera you can visit G4TV website and enjoy this documentary uploaded by them to YouTube, after the jump…

Its your choice to wait 15-30 days to see it/watch it a second time in IMAX.......99% of people arent.....when everyone talking about how "bad" it was you will be like " well it not in IMAX soo........"
no one said that - you said "Waiting to see TF around the end of the July / August holidays makes no sense, everyone is going to watch it with in its first 2 weeks."ZeroOne wrote:^apparently it must be viewed in IMAX to enjoy it.
