I never said Ian doesn't mean business. Its his actions on TV. He isn't very smooth with the words and actions nor is he funny. I think he tries a bit too hard. Tonight he was very serious though. His words said one thing, but his expression said something else.
For a while I was thinking that he was gonna cry.

Clearly he emotional with the current threat he received recently. He wanted to cuss on the show it almost come out. But if he find out who it is, it seems like the plan is to take them fellas out instead of handing them over to police and that kind of drama. But i saw what you talking about look like rage to the point where he wanted to cry. He safe for now he have a lot of security, personal and from the government.
