? on private electrical pole painting

Postby Nighttroll » June 21st, 2011, 7:11 am

I repainted my private electrical pole and now needs the final coat.
I need to know what is the correct colour so I will be within code. I've seen mostly silver.

what are the advantages of these private poles? Is it just as a fire/electrical deterrent because the line does not enter on the roof of a house

Back in the days when it had meter readers ,it was wise to put your meter base close to the road so the reading can be done easier. The next reason is that there are no overhead lines running from pole to house so the look is much cleaner.
I painting black.
