TFC!!! Gang 'shooter' kidnapped, killed...

A 27-year-old Port of Spain man, who was a key member of the notorious Port of Spain based G-Unit gang, was yesterday found murdered in a forest in San Juan, days after he was kidnapped by unknown assailants.

The victim has been identified as Winston "Stunners" Samuel of Observatory Street, East Dry River, Port of Spain.

Samuel was identified as a main shooter of the gang but witnesses were never willing to identify him, police said.

Samuel was released on a murder charge late last year.

His decomposing and bullet-riddled body was discovered around 11 a.m. yesterday by a caretaker of a hiking trail, miles off Maitagual Road, Upper Bushe Street, in San Juan.

The police were notified and a team of officers from the North Eastern Division Task Force. They were later joined by officers of Barataria Police Station.

Police said they found Samuel's body in some bushes. His corpse was identified by one of his relatives after it was air-lifted to the Aranjuez Savannah, before it was taken to the mortuary at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope.

Officers said they received information that Samuel was abducted several days ago from a location he was hiding out within the North Eastern Division. No official report was made of the victim's disappearance.

In November last year, Samuel, a former national footballer, was freed by High Court Justice Andre Mon Desir, for the March 29, 2006 killing of Emmanuel Holder.

Aleem Hosein, 34, was sitting on a chair when four men wearing dark clothing ran up to him around 10.30 p.m.
The attack happened at Gower's Well Road, Fyzabad, where Hosein was visiting a friend. He lived at Coora Road, Siparia.
The police were contacted and officers found Hosein still alive. He had been shot several times in the upper body.
Hosein was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he died an hour later.
