Yes, if you have a 1 ohm stable amp. As for why you would want to

it would mess up both the motor properties and coil properties if two different configured subs go together in one box....too risky

It is possible, once the amp is capable of playing at 1ohm and they are of comparable rating, there shouldn't be a problem, even if they were of different sizes it wouldn't matter because the amp cannot tell the difference in speaker size. (taken in the perspective of possible damage to the amp form doing such)

Had 2 15" Audiopipes and 3 10" Sound Barriers all on one Soundstream amp one.. was done for kicks, but worked well.. :fadein:

(of course, the 15"s and 10"s had their own boxes..)

See now you're getting at output from the drivers, the original question was whether it would pose a problem, i.e blown components etc. Granted it's not an ideal setup but it would 'work'

The difference will be minimal, and amplifier designs would be able to adjust to this without causing damage.
As i said before it is not an optimal setup, but it will work.

2 different subs with 2 different ts parameters in 2 different enclosures will never have the same response. good luck smoothing out the peaks & dips.
